1. About us
The Awakened Edit is an independent UK-based poetry and lifestyle brand specialising in original poetry artwork and digital downloads.
The business is operated by Sara Sacofsky, trading as The Awakened Edit, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom.

2. Our products
Our current products are downloadable digital poetry prints and artwork.
No physical product will be shipped unless a product listing expressly states otherwise.
Each product description sets out the relevant artwork, file formats, print dimensions and contents of the purchase.
3. Orders and payment
All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP), including applicable taxes where required.
The total payable will be displayed before you place your order.
Payment must be completed before digital files are supplied.
Your purchase is accepted when we confirm your order and make the purchased digital content available under the agreed delivery arrangements.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where a genuine pricing error or suspected fraudulent transaction occurs. Where payment has already been taken and an order is cancelled by us, we will provide the appropriate refund.
4. Digital delivery
Digital products are provided electronically following successful payment, subject to your agreement to immediate supply where applicable.
You are responsible for ensuring that the contact information provided at checkout is accurate.
If you experience difficulties accessing your files, please contact us using the details in our Contact Information policy.
5. Cancellation and refunds
For digital content, you normally have a statutory 14-day cancellation period beginning the day after the contract is formed.
If you expressly consent to immediate digital supply and acknowledge that your cancellation right will be lost when supply begins, your right to cancel will end once supply begins, provided all applicable legal requirements are satisfied.
If those requirements are not met, your statutory cancellation rights remain unaffected.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes your statutory consumer rights.
6. Intellectual property and permitted use
Unless otherwise stated, the original poetry and artwork sold by The Awakened Edit are protected by copyright and remain the intellectual property of their respective rights holders.
Purchasing a digital product grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download, store and print the purchased artwork for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may print the artwork for display in your home or give a printed copy as a personal gift.
You must not, without prior written permission:

Resell or redistribute the digital files.

Sell printed copies of the artwork.

Reproduce the artwork on merchandise intended for sale.

Upload the files to public download platforms or resale marketplaces.

Claim authorship of the poetry or artwork.

License the artwork to another person or business.
Purchasing a digital product does not transfer copyright ownership.
7. Printing and compatibility
Customers are responsible for checking that purchased digital files are compatible with their intended printing arrangements.
Print appearance may vary depending on printer settings, paper, ink and display calibration.
We do not guarantee that colours will appear identical across all devices and printers.
These provisions do not affect your legal rights if the digital content is faulty or does not match its description.
8. Customer responsibilities
You agree to use our website and digital products lawfully.
You must not attempt to interfere with the website's operation, obtain unauthorised access to its systems or misuse its content.

We aim to resolve customer enquiries fairly and promptly.

10A. Shopify Hosting and Data Processing
Our online store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform used to operate The Awakened Edit.
When you visit our store or make a purchase, Shopify collects and processes personal information to provide our ecommerce services and certain enhanced services, including services informed by interactions with our store, other merchants and Shopify.
Personal information may be shared with Shopify and relevant third-party service providers, including providers located outside the United Kingdom, where necessary to deliver these services.
Some enhanced services may support personalisation, advertising and improvements to the shopping experience, subject to applicable privacy and consent requirements.
